What are Nectar Prices and how do I get them?
Nectar Prices are exclusive lower prices on 100s of items at Sainsbury’s, available in store and online.
- In store: Scan or swipe your Nectar card (or app) at checkout.
- Online: Add your Nectar card to your Sainsbury’s online account before shopping.
You can access Nectar Prices using both the Nectar app and physical Nectar cards.

Your Nectar Prices are a set of up to 10 weekly personalised discounts on items you love and that we think you’ll love, based on your previous shops. Your Nectar Prices are only available to customers who have registered with Nectar via the Nectar App or nectar.com.
How can I get Your Nectar Prices on my shopping?
Each week before you shop, you'll need to unlock your available Your Nectar Prices offers, which refresh every Friday.
To browse and unlock offers, sign in to your Nectar account on the Nectar app or at www.nectar.com. In the Nectar app, go to the Sainsbury's tab and select Your Nectar Prices, then unlock the offers you'd like to redeem. You can also unlock offers in the Nectar tab of your Sainsbury's Groceries Online account or through SmartShop (app or handset).
To redeem an unlocked Your Nectar Prices offer in store, purchase the exact product at a Sainsbury's supermarket using SmartShop (app or handset) or at the checkout. Before paying, make sure you've linked your Nectar account by scanning or swiping your Nectar card, or by scanning the QR code in the Nectar app. You can also redeem offers in Sainsbury's Local stores when using the SmartShop app.
If your Nectar account is linked to your Sainsbury's Groceries Online account, you can also redeem unlocked Your Nectar Prices offers when shopping online at Sainsbury's.
Your discount will be applied automatically at checkout, provided you've unlocked the relevant offer and scanned or swiped your Nectar card, or scanned the QR code in the Nectar app.
I have just signed up to Nectar. Will I receive Your Nectar Prices straight away?
Yes, so long as you have signed up via the Nectar app or www.nectar.com. The more you shop with Nectar, the more personalised Your Nectar Prices will become.
If you are new to Nectar, you will receive Your Nectar Price welcome offers when you first sign up via the Nectar app or web and these will be immediately available for the first week. After this you will be required to unlock your weekly Your Nectar Prices offers before you shop.
