Why didn’t I receive Nectar Prices at checkout?

In store:

If you scanned your Nectar card and didn’t receive the discounted price, visit the Customer Service Desk or Kiosk with:

• Your receipt

• The promotional item(s)

They can review and process a refund if applicable.

Online:

Make sure your Nectar card number is added correctly to your Sainsbury’s online account. Once your order is picked, you’ll receive an e•receipt showing if Nectar Prices were applied.


If the discounts are missing: Chat to a Nectar help colleague. We’ll check that your account is active and investigate the issue.

1. Check your online points history: The Nectar homepage displays your last 5 transactions. To view 30 days of activity, click ‘Full Statement’.

2. Allow 48 hours: It can take up to 2 days for your points to update. Receipts may reflect an outdated balance if you shop frequently.

3. Bonus points visibility: Bonus points from offers are not shown separately but are included in your total.
