Why can’t I spend points when I scan my plastic card?

QR codes have been introduced to make spending points more secure. Your plastic card does not have a QR code. but you can still spend points by swiping the magnetic strip on your card down the side of the Chip & PIN machine.

You can only spend points by swiping the barcode at Esso petrol stations.

You can download the Nectar app to collect and spend Nectar points with your smartphone.

Alternatively, you can chat to a Nectar help colleague for more support.
